Error message "ISDX_ERR_BADWINDOWSVERSION - entry not found in the string table"

Do you get the error "ISDX_ERR_BADWINDOWSVERSION - entry not found in the string table" when installing one of our games - especially a Creatures title?

If so, the simple problem is that the installation has detected that you are trying to install the game onto an operating system it was not made for. Typically people trying to install a Creatures game onto Windows XP will get this error.

As it is we are not currently aware of the best way to fix this problem specifically, but it could well be that it is due to one of the main reasons why some of our games can't be installed on Windows XP -- which is because of access privileges.
