The CDN was set up after the release of Creatures 2 because at that point we knew from the experience of C1 that information exchange was vital.

Unfortunately the information and knowledge to develop with the original Creatures is hard to come by. Creature Labs never released any tools specifically for C1 (the tools created were most definitely 'works in progress' and not suitable for general consuption) and most 3rd parties who created tools have moved on to other things....

Having said that, this section is here to restore some of that lost knowledge - but is limited in that it is the result of trawling through a few personal archives for anything Creatures-related.
