New Zombie Survival Game: RUST

Rust is a game you’ll remember.

The game play is unlike anything you’ve experienced before. Sure, the game employs elements that have been seen in first person games in the past, but the intensity of the environment, the importance of the action to the character’s very survival are unrivaled. You’ll feel like you are actually in the game - like it is happening to you instead of to your character. That’s a good and a bad thing.

What will you do to survive?

Rust is available on Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. It simulates survival experiences and creates an environment for game play that is as intense as it is unpredictable. Everything acts like it might in real life if exposed to apocalyptic times. Animals will defend themselves. Human nature and all of its facets will rear its ugly head. The nature of the game is based in reality - a reality we hope will never come to fruition. All of this makes for one intense, thrilling, addictive game.

Facepunch Studios outdid themselves this time. Rust was released in 2013 and sold 150,000 copies in two weeks.

People like it. A lot.

Chop down trees to get wood for the humble abode, make weapons, hunt for food, make a fire to cook, protect yourself against the elements, the radiation, the animals, and the other people trying to survive just like you. This multiplayer game is full of challenges and many source are already offering rust hacks that help your character survive. Can you make it? Will you survive?
