Creatures 2 Genome Update

Please note: if you have The Albian Years, this download is not required as it has already been installed.


This updates the Digital DNA for your Norns. The Norns supplied in this pack are designed to be more robust in general as well as have improved behaviour. Many minor tweaks have been made, and for the technically minded and those interested in the details of what we've updated, the major changes are detailed in the revision document below.

Download the egg pack now

To use this pack:

1. Make sure you have the latest executable update installed on your system (1.0.38 - look in "About Creatures" in the "Help" menu for your version number. Please note: if you purchased C2 that has this version number, you do not need to install this genome since it is already present).


2. Download the self-extracting archive.


3. Make sure that Creatures 2 is *not* running.


4. Double click on the downloaded file to start installation.


5. Run Creatures 2. All eggs in your hatchery will now have been updated.
