The Creatures 2 Room Editor is a professional, high-quality tool that was developed and used by Creature Labs for setting up the world of Albia. It features:
  • Editing Functions - Make new metarooms, fill them with sub-rooms, connect them up, and off you go!
  • Cellular Automata Editing - Allows you to control and edit the diffusion of Cellular Automata (also known as CAs) throughout your world. CAs are what enable Creatures to perceive their world, and so are very powerful.
  • Boundary editing - Allows you to define what agents will be able to pass through room boundaries - you could even construct an invisible maze!

Installation instructions:

  • Download the Zip file to your computer and unpack the archive.
  • Launch "Setup.exe" from within the Room Editor folder
  • Enter GamewareDev in the "Name" field
  • Enter anything at all (or nothing) in the "Company" field
  • Enter 301-5061A-1234U-WI in the "Serial number" field
